Managing Admin Users and Roles
easy-donate offers extensive capabilities for organizations to manage users and assign access levels for managing campaigns and billing. With four distinct user roles available, you can tailor permissions to match the responsibilities of various team members. This guide walks you through the process of configuring user roles within your organization.
User Roles:

Owner: Full access to all recipient settings.

Billing Administrator: Almost full access to recipient settings, except for disabling the Owner's permissions. Can manage causes, configure payouts, and view billing information.

Cause Manager: Can manage a designated cause and create new causes. Has edit access to the cause but not payout processing authority.

Coordinator: Limited to viewing users and donations in existing campaigns. Cannot create or edit campaigns.
Configuring Admin User Roles:
Step 1: Accessing Admin and Access

Go to your Institution from the Institution's tab.

Click on the "Admin and Access" link.
Step 2: Assigning User Roles

Enter the email address of the user you wish to assign an admin role to.

Click the search button to find the user.
Step 3: Selecting and Configuring User Role

Once the user is found, select the user to configure their role.

Choose from the available roles:

Billing Admin

Cause Manager

Transfer Ownership
Transfer Ownership:

The "Transfer Ownership" option allows transferring ownership privileges to another user.

Use this option with extreme caution, as transferring ownership means losing all access to the organization.

This action should only be taken if you are absolutely certain about the transfer, as the new owner will need to restore your access.
