Payouts

Payouts are a crucial aspect of easy-donate, enabling the smooth transfer of funds from donors to institutions. Configuring payouts and withdrawing funds are integral parts of this process. This guide walks you through the steps involved in setting up payout accounts and withdrawing funds for your causes on the platform.

Configuring Payouts:

Step 1: Accessing Payout Account Setup

• Go to your Institution's page from the Institutions tab. 
• Click on the "Payout account" link to initiate the payout account setup.

Step 2: Adding Payout Account Details

• Click on "Set your Payout Account" to enter your account details.

Step 3: Providing Account Name

• Enter your account name and click the ✔ symbol.

Step 4: Account Setup on Stripe

• A dialog box will appear; click on the "Set Up Account" button. 
• You will be redirected to an external Stripe page to set up your payout account. 
• Complete the account setup on Stripe's website.

Step 5: Additional Information

• In some cases, Stripe may require additional information. 
• Enter a valid email address, select the country code, and provide your phone number for verification. 
• Verify your phone number by entering the validation code. 
• Enter your name and website details.

Step 6: Completion of Account Setup

• Account setup is complete; you can view your account on the Stripe dashboard.

Withdrawing Payouts:

Step 1: Selecting a Cause for Withdrawal

• On the homepage, choose your Institution from the Institutions tab. 
• Select the cause from which you wish to withdraw donations.

Step 2: Initiating Withdrawal

• Click on the "Withdraw money" button. 
• You will see the total amount collected and the current balance available for withdrawal.

Step 3: Choosing Withdrawal Type

There are two withdrawal options:

• Full Payout: Withdraw the entire amount collected for the cause.
• Partial Payout: Specify the desired withdrawal amount.

Step 4: Confirming Withdrawal

• Select the desired payout option. 
• Click the "Payout" button to initiate the withdrawal.

Step 5: Payout History

• After successful withdrawal, view the payment history under "Payout History."
