Notifying Followers, Contact List of an Institution/ Cause. 

Instant notifications are a valuable tool for keeping followers and contact list subscribers informed about the latest updates from your institution. This feature ensures that important news reaches the intended audience promptly. These instructions guide you through the process of sending instant notifications to followers and contact lists on easy-donate.

Step 1: Accessing the Edit Cause Page

• Sign in to your easy-donate account. 
• Navigate to your Institution through the Institution's tab. 
• Select the specific cause for which you wish to send a notification. 
• Click on the edit icon, represented by a pencil, as shown for the selected Cause.

Step 2: Navigating to the Notification Section

• Within the edit Cause page, locate the "Send Notification" section. 
• Click on the "Send Notification" section to proceed.

Step 3: Choosing Notification Recipients

Select the appropriate recipients for your notification:

• Notify all Campaign followers.
• Notify all Organization followers.
• Use Contact List

Step 4: Notifying All Campaign Followers:

• Click "Notify" under "Notify all Campaign followers." 
• Confirm the notification to be sent to all followers of the selected campaign.
• If successful, a notification sent successfully message will be displayed.

Step 5: Notifying All Institution Followers:

• Click "Notify" under "Notify all Organization followers." 
• Confirm the notification to be sent to all followers of the institution. 
• If successful, a notification sent successfully message will be displayed.

Step 6: Using a Contact List:

• If using a contact list, click "Use Contact List." 
• A popup will appear, allowing you to select a contact list from the dropdown.
• If no suitable contact list is available, you can create a new one.
